Meet The Team
Matt Nasner
Owner/Operator
Born and raised in Upstate New York, Matt has built his career across both the Albany area and the Adirondacks. His passion for construction began early, working alongside his father at just 15 years old. Starting out in Willsboro, NY on Lake Champlain, Matt eventually moved to the Capital Region, bringing Corlear Bay Contracting with him and establishing the business in Albany in 2019. In early 2025, he and the company relocated to Saratoga, where he continues to grow and serve clients throughout the region.
Matt is always eager to take on new challenges and develop new skills that enhance his craft. When he’s not building, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their dog, hunting, and fishing.
Katie Kratovil
Billing & Admin
Saltine
Katie worked alongside Matt on job sites from 2022 to 2024, and now she handles billing, marketing, and administrative operations for Corlear Bay Contracting, keeping projects organized and clients informed.
Katie’s favorite part of the job is connecting with clients and helping them with whatever they need. Though she’s now behind the scenes, you might still spot her on site from time to time.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys baking sourdough, has a passion for reading, and is currently working toward her spin instructor certification!
Team Mascot
Saltine takes his role very seriously as a job site supervisor and team mascot. He’s always keeping an eye on the team, sneaking in a quick nap, and squeaking his ball on the side lines.
When he’s not helping on the job, you’ll find him enjoying long walks, chasing anything that moves, or waiting patiently for a piece of sourdough from Katie.
